1. Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account, accessing YanaScript, or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you are using YanaScript for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
You may use the service only if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement and your use complies with applicable law.
2. Accounts and security
You are responsible for providing accurate account information and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are also responsible for activity that happens under your account unless the activity was caused by our own failure to maintain reasonable security.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly so we can investigate and take protective action.
3. Customer content
You retain ownership of the files, transcripts, and other content you submit to YanaScript. You grant us a limited right to host, process, store, transmit, and display that content only as needed to provide the service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process your content, including any recording or transcription consent required by law.
If you use organization features, content associated with that organization may be controlled by the organization rather than by an individual member account.
4. Billing and plan changes
Paid features may be offered through subscriptions, usage-based pricing, credits, or other pricing models shown in the product or on the pricing page.
You authorize us and our billing providers to charge the payment method tied to your account for the fees you select or incur. Except where required by law or where we choose otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable.
We may change pricing, packaging, limits, or plan structure over time. If we make a material change, we aim to provide advance notice before the change applies to future billing periods or new purchases.
If a mandatory consumer-protection law gives you a cooling-off or withdrawal right, that right applies only to the extent the relevant digital service or credits have not already been fully performed, provisioned, or consumed at your request.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use YanaScript to violate law, infringe the rights of others, bypass security controls, interfere with the service, or process content you do not have the right to use.
You may not upload or process material involving child exploitation, unlawful surveillance, malicious code, or other content whose handling through the service would be illegal or harmful.
We may investigate misuse and take action, including suspending access, removing content where appropriate, or cooperating with lawful requests from authorities.
6. Service availability and changes
We work to keep YanaScript available and reliable, but the service depends on infrastructure, storage, billing, and compute providers that can experience outages or degradation.
We may add, remove, improve, pause, or discontinue features over time. Some features may be in testing, may have limited availability, or may change before they become broadly available.
7. Intellectual property
We and our licensors own the software, service design, branding, site content, and platform intellectual property, excluding customer content.
These terms do not give you ownership of our platform. You may not copy, reverse engineer, republish, or exploit the service beyond what is allowed by law or by our written permission.
8. Disclaimers
YanaScript is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, perfectly accurate, or suitable for every use case.
Transcript outputs should be reviewed by a human before being relied on for legal, medical, compliance, publication, or other high-stakes purposes.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YanaScript and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, goodwill, use, or data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, created security risk, failed to pay fees, or used the service unlawfully.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, billing obligations, disclaimers, and liability limits, will survive termination.
11. Governing law
YanaScript is still finalizing parts of its launch-era legal and entity posture. Until a more specific customer agreement or an updated version of these terms says otherwise, disputes will be handled in the forum required by applicable law and any binding written agreement between you and YanaScript.
We will update this section when the governing-law and venue position is finalized so the public terms match the actual legal structure in use.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice inside the product or by email.
For questions about these terms, email hello@yanascript.com.
These terms are provided for clarity and operational transparency. They are not legal advice for your organization.
